How do I claim and verify my propane company on Google?
Find your existing business on Google before adding a new profile. Claim it if it is unverified. If another account controls it, request ownership instead. Google chooses the verification methods you can use. Use a Google account your company can keep access to, and follow the steps shown for your profile.

Look for the existing listing
Search Maps for the business name and city. If you find an unverified listing, claim it. If it does not exist, add the business. Google explains how to add or claim a profile.
We suggest choosing the responsible company account first. Write down who handles account recovery before a vendor begins.
Use the method Google offers
Google chooses the available verification methods. It may require more than one. Follow your profile’s options. An old screenshot does not prove which method you can use.
Google says review can take up to five business days and, rarely, longer. Keep verification codes private, even from people helping manage the listing.
Check access when you finish
Review who holds primary ownership. Invite outside help through a separate account. For a verified listing held by someone else, use the recovery guide.
Next step
Find the public listing and check its status. Bring that listing to a setup review before anyone creates a duplicate.
